The nationally-recognized Montshire Museum of Science is bringing a wind tube, Scribble Bots, microscopes and more to set up in the Albany Town Hall. Come play and learn together in our local pop-up version of the hands-on science museum! (And enjoy some free food while you're here!)
With the wind tube, challenge yourselves to craft a flying contraption to float at just the right height. This activity is a blast for all ages! For a more challenging engineering project (best for ages 8+), build a Scribble Bot by using batteries, motors and other materials to make whimsical art-producing contraptions!
Need a break? Curl up on a beanbag in the library corner and check out some of the library's latest science-themed titles!
This program is made possible by generous funding from the Allen Hilles Foundation. (Can't make it on a Monday morning? If a Friday evening works better for you, mark your calendars, because the Montshire Museum will be bringing the Pop-Up Science Fair back to Albany on August 15th!)
