Description: Grow Your Own will be hosting a free workshop on companion planting for pollination and pest reduction led by Peggy Newfield. Come along for a fun and informative session on beneficial insects and how to encourage them to flock to your garden. This Workshop will be held on July 7 at 11:30 am to 1:30pm at Atkins field community gardens, 100 Granite St, Hardwick. It involves a free meal and kids are very welcome, however space is limited so please reserve your spot by July 5 by calling Laura Wilkinson at the Hardwick Area Food Pantry on (802) 472-5940 or email laura@hardwickareafoodpantry.org. The mission of Grow Your Own is to increase food independence, better health and well being through shared knowledge and experience. Grow Your Own is a project of Hardwick Area Food Pantry, Center for an Agricultural Economy and NEK Kids on the move.
